Uantir is a fictional place. What does it mean to have land then? When referring to any Uantiri geography, we are referring to the planet Micras. Micras is a fictional map created and maintained by the Micronational Cartography Society (MCS) for nations like Uantir. It provides a common ground for inter-micronational relations. The MCS handles land allocation in the same manner as Uantir does title tiers. The more active and developed a nation, the more land they are allowed to occupy. It’s just one of the many ways your activity directly influences Uantir. Land awarded to new Aristocrats is one pixel. That may not seem like much, but each pixel represents 12 km (7 mi) in width or 144 sq km (50 sq mi) in land. Higher tiers earn exponentially larger tracts of land. For simplicity’s sake, the MCS uses MS Paint and a legend of symbols. The zoomed maps of your land may use any program (or free hand) with as much detail as you have the ability and desire to create. There is also a physical and resource map to go along with the claims map that is useful for deciding where to place your territory.
