Wow, lots of change going on! Sorry I haven't been around...I'm glad the move went well. ;D
I feel like it's been a long time since I've seen a Disney movie. The Little Mermaid was definitely my favorite when I was younger. XD My sister's fave was Cinderella.
I like the movie idea, King Ari. ;D And speaking of Firefly, it's definitely time for a Firefly marathon in my little corner of Michigan!

I just need to scrounge up some people to watch it with. I don't want to marathon by myself...

We could co-ordinate a mass Firefly Marathon. Set up a time and have hundreds of people across the globe watching at the same time.

Hi guys,
It was a Obscure Disney movie marathon - the Black Cauldron, In search of the Castaways, The Gnome-mobile, Nightmare before christmas.
My favourite disney movies and my favourite disney short: Beauty and the beast, Aladdin, Black Cauldron, Homeward Bound: The incredible journey, Cheetah and Eight Below.
Eight Below is not for the faint hearted. it's a gut wrenching story of a team of sled dogs who work in Antartica, a massive storm comes in and they have to evacuate the base - but the dogs are left behind because there isn't room in the plane for them, and they are unable to go back because of the storm - the dogs were left there for the winter season, a season that everyone leaves for because it's impossible to get to... And the end was just amazing... i cried so hard.
Homeward bound is about a cat and two dogs that are left with friends of their owners parents while they have to be somewhere where they cant have the pets. Old Shadow said that something was wrong, and the three embarked on a journey home, through the mountains, facing bears, mountain lions, waterfalls and porcupines. It was about friendship, love, being there for others when they needed you... brilliant film.
and i think everyone knows about the rest.

Homeward bound was awesome. I was also a big fan of Michael Jay Fox the first time I saw it, which made me like it even more.

I've not seen 'The Black Cauldron', 'In search of the Castaways' or 'The Gnome-mobile'... but 'Nightmare before christmas' is a fantastic film! I love Jack and the dog (I forget his name >.>..).. but I watch the film every christmas lol..
I sometimes wish they'd do a story for all the other holiday worlds..

Black Cauldron is the first I've ever seen that style of animation. It really threw me off for a while.

We could co-ordinate a mass Firefly Marathon. Set up a time and have hundreds of people across the globe watching at the same time. This is an epic idea! XD And then those of us lame enough to use twitter could tweet to each other in real time about what's going on! We'd have to coordinate bathroom breaks, etc, so that we don't get out of sync. Mwa ha ha ha ha! I haven't seen Black Cauldron, Castaways, Gnome-mobile, Homeward bound, Cheetah, or eight below. I think my parents rented Eight Below a while ago, but I wasn't home to watch it with them. I know I've seen about 5 minutes of Homeward Bound, but that's it.

Black Cauldron is a favourite, Castaways was kinda bland, but still good, all i have to do is listen to the sound track for Homeward Bound and i cry. Gnome-Mobile is very cutesy, Cheetah was interesting, and Eight Below was total gold.

Gnome-Mobile sounds fantastic if it's anything like it's name.

I think it's fair to say that is. Two young children are out with their grandfather on a picnic in the forest. It's there that the girl meets a Gnome. and i'm not going to spoil the rest of it - track it down.
