There are days where I wake up abnormal--just annoyed or frustrated--and it truly bothers me to begin my day to such an off-start. I'd try meditating but I haven't quite mastered the technique for clearing my mind and I rarely make time in my schedule to improve. I was wondering if there's a special herb or skill that could be used to calm the mind or, the very least, clear it; almost like a muscle relaxant or vitamin rush that doesn't deplete. I apologize if it sounds like I'm asking for some Feng Shui answer but what I really want is to better myself.

All good - I'm here to help.
Passionflower is the only thing i can think of that will relax without making you drowsy. Eating has the relaxant effect, but if you have it as a tea, it then becomes a very handy sedative.
