Uantiri society operates on a cast system in a fictional setting. There is a distinct difference between a citizen and an Aristocrat. In reality, the average citizen of Uantir does not exist. A citizen is part of the ‘game’ along with many other fictional aspects like money and territory. They are the individuals of the simulated population; the people who pick up the trash, work at insurance companies, run the factories, and operate the restaurants. They may be fiercely patriotic, adamantly anarchist, oppositional, or neutral. They are as varied from region to region just the the same as in any other country. The only difference between an American and an Uantiri citizen is that the Uantiri is fictional. An Aristocrat is a far more important creature all together. The Aristocrats are real people who participate in cultural and governmental activities. As an Aristocrat in Uantiri society you are in an elevated social position as well as awarded title and dominion over land. Not every Aristocrat is a noble. Business tycoons, government officials, professors, scientists, students and more fill the ranks. It is the Aristocrats that make Uantir vibrant, exciting and alive.
