I have permission to post this. It kinda began as sadness, turned into despair, and then to anger. How can people be so shortsighted, hateful, cruel, insane, and phobic. I've been doing a bit of reading. and i want to share it with you, and i ask you to share it with others. This is a good starting point. It makes you think. And its right... snide remarks are the beginning, and like a cancer, it will spread and become more agressive: www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=usga&c=words&id=12342This is where i felt the disbelief. no one has a right to judge any one on any thing that they may think or feel or how they are: www.geocities.com/WestHollywood/Stonewall/2878/Here's a perfect example of how stupid and twisted and unfair the system is. Admittedly, they did wrong, but the proposed punishment was predujudiced: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jena_SixAnd here's why the system is a let down. Some times you can't even trust those you're meant to: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abner_LouimaSo next time, before you mouth off about "those ethnics" i suggest you put yourself in their shoes. Ask yourself... How would you feel? How would you cope after? And make the right choice... not the easy one.

Though I am touched by your respect in asking permission to post this, I have to say that unless it's distinctly pornographic, insensitive or illegal you don't need permission to post anything here.

It's more Politically Correct to ask before putting something that could cause an uproar. I know a lot of people think what happened was deserved. There are people who don't care either way. And that there is a broadminded minority that feels compassionate towards their victimized fellow human beings, and these things tend to stir me into a frenzy. And a lot of people like to bury their heads in the sand and ignore it.

But, as your article stated, covering up and ignoring an issue doesn't solve a thing.
