That's pretty awesome. I like the original, too. The original music video makes more sense plot wise. Of course it's totally over dramatic and really dated.
I like Nightwish.

This version kicks the originals behind squarely I only discovered Nightwish a few days ago... I have a lot to catch up on!

The song has a similar plot as the song Long Black Veil. A man is accused of a crime he didn't commit but refuses to reveal his alibi because he doesn't want to reveal the affair he's been having with his mate's wife.
Tragic.

After having spent all last night awake, with this song keeping me company for a lot of the night, I've decided I like it a lot. The drums and guitars are flat out excellent, and as for the vocals, when she launches into the chorus, the notes sound cool, like they're reversed from what I'd expect them to be. They go high, low, high, etc., instead of low, high, low. It's like the difference between looking at an M and a W...only with sound.*

*Laughs* I understand what you mean, and yes, it was very unexpected. And the keyboard parts! I adore those bits. I want to learn how to play this song! *Is somewhat hyper*
