I suggest that we try and get some activity picked up here.. I think the keys to that are
A) Organisation B) Activity C) People
So.. lets start with the third.. I press for a census to be held, with the form asking questions such as who they are, how often they can get to the boards and what positions they have.
Secondly, I request a stricter movement with government positions. If people can't get to the boards that often, whats the point in having them in power of a crucial element to this nation? I know there are many people here who are respected and are key to this nation.. but if they can't be here, its not going to move on.
Thirdly, and finally, getting to know the people. If people know you, they talk abotu you.. you get mentioned. Tis very important that you be a socialite to get noticed and respected. So, I say, if you've got the time.. visit the micras boards, go on #micronations IRC channel, chat to some of the other micronationalists. MoFA-wise.. go to other nations boards, if just to say hi and give them a topic. They'll appreciate the activity, and you might even get the same thing back. That, and don't be afraid to ask for help.

We have the beginnings of a census with the Hall of Records, but the idea of adding activity is a good idea.
Perhaps even setting personal Uantir related goals as well?

Well.. a goal has to be something an individual or group /wants/ to do.. which is why I proposed a regular census first off. If no-one wants to grasp something and make it work (or in some cases if they don't have the time to grasp it without someone elses help) theres going to be no activty and nothing being done.. which.. is the general feel at the moment. =/

Well no one is going to put down a goal they don't want to achieve. It will be a wirtten, and posted, reminder of what they personally want to accomplish in Uantir. That way it's something they are personally invested in, instead of just being part of someone else's thing. Does that make sense?

Well yes, the census would obviously be a mass e-mail / facebook venture to make sure it got the most visibility and response.
Name (In Uantir) Any Government Positions Average VPD (forum visits per day)
Anything else should be part of the census?

In response to strictness, I'm not sure that is the most appropriate action to take. It would be different if there were highly active citizens and sluggish government officials. What we have is a Countess whose brother is in abysmal health, a baroness who is currently finishing moving house and taking care of an ailing mother and a Dean who is currently studying abroad. My point is that being too strict with them considering their circumstance and there being absolutely no replacement is a sure route to having no one posting instead of slow posting.
Now I'm no stranger to discipline, but without proper direction and purpose it creates resentment, which we can't afford.

I'm here to promote Literacy, natural Health and the Arts. I get on at least once a day, and i'll look at all the newly replied to topics before logging off. I don't reply to topics that i don't have anything to add to. Maybe we should put a social board together? Pets, hobbies, interests, day to day happenings, health problems/interests, that sort of thing? I love the idea of the scullery

The Scullery is great.
The Lounge sort of serves as the social get together area, but I'll put up an 'All about us' kind of thread.
