Ghost, and also, Center for the Arts?

As some of you are probably aware, Patrick Swayze died several weeks ago, which is a terrible shame. He was a great actor, and in his honor (and also because it's just a great movie) I watched Ghost the other day. I just had to say, that movie is amazing. I knew it was good, but I had forgotten just how overpoweringly wonderful it actually is. There's good, and there's great, and then there's masterpieces, and Ghost falls into the latter category. It's an appropriate for all sexes mix of action/romance/mystery/comedy with fantastic acting and great interactions between the cast all around. And seriously, Unchained Melody. Seriously. So, with immediate effect, everyone is encouraged to go out and watch this movie, whether you've seen it before or not.


On a different but related note, we've got a place to discuss books, and a place to discuss recipes; would it be appropriate to add areas to discuss other art forms like music and video, or should we attempt to consolidate them into one overarching Center for the Arts, or simply leave such discussions to general boards like the Lounge?

I remember thinking that movie was fantastic, even as a kid. It's on the Netflix queue now!

I'd be happy to create a Ministry of the Arts, moving the Library and such into it, and adding film and music and anything you can think of.

It would de-clutter the boards, which is always good, but it also removes some of their visibility, as you have to know where they are to get to them. Granted if we wanted to make a Ministry of the Arts it would be up to Mira and Jared as to whether they would like their boards moved to the Ministry.

I must say, I do enjoy the idea of an Arts Centre - Being an art nut my self. So imagine me waving the fan board screaming "Yes for Arts Centre!"
