Title: Naturally Author: Jo Wood Year Published: 2007 Publisher: Pan Macmillan
Plot Summary: One woman's journey (and sometimes struggle) to recover her health, and save the world through organic eating, and sharing her information and chemical warnings with her friends, family and business associates. There are also some cool recipes.
Why I recommend the book: This book is why we decide just for this week we'll buy organic/minimum spray fruits and veg. And now that we have, we aren't going back. Why? 1) It was about 15% more expensive. But we're all feeling fuller, thus eating less, which means it was actually cheaper. 2) I feel better. I feel less clogged in the body, a clearer in the head. 3) I was told that i look better! and that was on day three! 4) It's better for the environment. 5) It creates a bigger demand for local organic produce, driving the price down, and sends a message to the non organic farmers - I don't like it. so everyone wins.
Oh, and 6) it tastes so insanely better. there is so much more flavour in EVERYTHING. I nearly died eating the mango. It was THAT good.
