So there was little uniformity to what we were doing, which is what I attribute to this activity failing. Also, those who were just coming in were overwhelmed by those who have been working out for a while. I think I have found the answer. There is a set of programs that are designed to work you up to 100 pushups, 200 situps etc. They have online loggers that link to facebook etc. We'll use those to keep us on track. Here's how it works. You take your maximum test, do as many as you can do, and see where you rate on their chart. Each day of workout you have to a few sets of the exercise. The final set is a burn out, the max you can do (minimum a certain number.) - Here's how the Challenge will work now. Every day you post what week you're in, and what column you're on (there are three intensity columns in each weeks work out.) Then you post your max out. This way you can track your progress against those of the same fitness level as yourself according to their chart. Thus if you're in week two second column and someone posts their max out and it's really, really high, but they are in week five third column, there's no need to feel discouraged because you're not competing with them, you're competing with people in week two. I won't be competing, due to a number of personal issues, but do admire those who do put the time and effort into it.
