It being Superbowl Sunday, I'm curious as to what everyone's thoughts are on the event. I am personally completely indifferent to football or other sporting events, but I find the uproar around the pro-life commercials and irritating feminists to be quite entertaining. I often frequent Care2, but recently, I've found myself nothing short of disgusted by the insanity many of these articles exhibit. This article is one of such, and I couldn't quite bring myself to leave without stirring up this particular ants' nest a little. www.care2.com/causes/womens-rights/blog/super-bowl-commercials/I'm curious to know what everyone else thinks. Frankly, I find it slightly hilarious that these "Pro-choice" people are only "Pro-choice" IF the choice is abortion. It's a bit like saying "I'm all for free-speech as long as you're saying nice things". It seems totally backwards to me. You're either FOR the use free-will, or you're not. You can't say you're for it only as long as everyone agrees with you and no one does anything to upset you. The uber obsession with political correctness in the media has reached absolute insanity. It's gotten to the point no one can sneeze without someone being angry about it, but I digress. The Superbowl is nothing but an exhibition of this insanity. I kind of lost my train of thought.... But curious to know what everyone else thinks.
