His Majesty has asked me to share some of my favorite recipes here, so I have my recipe box in front of me, and the first one is what I made for dinner yesterday. Please note: While exact measurements are posted in the recipe, I really never follow them, at least not for the chicken and the veggies. I put whatever chicken leftovers I have available in. For Veggies, I usually just go with a little over half a pound of whatever frozen mix I get. I also usually salt and pepper the chicken/veggie/soup mix. Any cream soup can be used. Yesterday I used Cream of Celery. You can use it in it's concentrated form. You don't need to add water or milk to the soup.
1 2/3 C Frozen Mixed Vegetables 1C cut up cooked chicken 1 can condensed Cream of Chicken 1 C Bisquick 1/2 C milk 1 egg
Mix vegetables, chicken and soup in a bowl, then spread over the bottom of an ungreased pie pan. In another bowl, mix bisquick, milk and egg, spread over the top of chicken mix. Bake at 350 F for half an hour, or until bisquick mix is nicely golden.
