Ingredients per person:
1 cup milk 1 shot rum or brandy 1 egg 1 dessert spoon of sugar Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg in amounts to preferred taste.
Pour the milk into a heavy based pan Add sugar Whisk in egg Whisk in the spices Slowly heat (low to medium heat) till the milk starts steaming, continuing to whisk Add rum/brandy, keeping whisking Leave on for 2 more minutes, whisking still Turn off heat, pour into mugs, add more spices if desired, and drink up!

So that's how egg nog's made? That's much easier than I thought...yet another libation I can experiment with.

Yessirree! I didn't realise how easy it was to make till i read the ingredients label on a carton from the store, so I looked up a few recipes, and made my own recipe. oh, and a note I forgot to add - The shot of rum or brandy can be a very generous shot

XD The idea of a raw or raw-ish egg has always prevented me from trying eggnog. Now that I know it's cooked a bit I'll have to try it. My mom likes it pretty well so maybe I'll have to make us some. =) Thankee, Mira!
