The fighter character had a name at some point, something pretty cliché like ‘Roland’ or something. He introduces himself at all times as [name] ‘The Valiant’ to the point where it gets put down as his last name. Plenty of funny can be written around that and it’ll get used over and over. He’s your typical altruistic almost bordering on paladin esque fighting for the good kind of fighter. He’s chivalrous to the point of confusing the hell out of people. He also seems to be the only character of the group that seems to inspire random encounters, as no matter where they are: on the bus, in the office, in a lunch line he can be beset on by goblins or trolls or something, much to his social worker’s dismay. There’s even a scene where he (politely) argues with another co-worker about the existence of goblins. Whenever the office critter leaves a goblin immediately leaps through the window. He’s fiercely attached to his sword and is constantly in trouble for bringing it to work / the super market / etc.
The Wizard is a guy who can just spout nonsense that almost makes sense (if you were insane) and he can do it with a straight face, staring at you with eyes that focus but don't in that way that speaks of madness. That's pretty much his entire character. May make a hilarious day care worker / stay at home father. Plus magic.
The thief / rogue is the most ‘human’ of the characters and is the only one that makes ‘ooc’ comments and sometimes breaks the fourth wall. He represents that table top guy who doesn’t play very well. He’s a compulsive, compulsive thief and gets addicted to things, but funny things like French fries and video games. He’s laid back to a fault, to the point where he’ll slip handcuffs for a cup of coffee (bing! Another addiction) and then slip back into them. He’s also the quickest to embrace the ‘real world.’
The elf cleric chick is both a strong willed independent woman and also a bit of a stereotype for elves. When at the grocery store she fills her cart with flowers and shampoo instead of food. Though everyone treats her like a ditz, she actually isn’t. The universe seems hell bent on asserting the stereotype on her, as when she goes to put on a frumpy sweater when she puts it on it somehow manages to fit tight and skimpy and low cut. People treat her like she’s a delicate flower, but she’s probably the most intelligent in the group, much to her frustration. She’s also your goody goody cleric, so she likes to flit about the office curing paper cuts and restoring bald men’s hair. As an elf she’s really old, this is fuel for hilarity I’m sure. She’s eloquent, even if people react to her as if she’s speaking baby talk.
