Hello, fellow citizens of Uantir. I will be using this thread to post details about the Royal Academy, including details of how to enroll as a student and how to apply to be a professor. Bear in mind, this academy exists to enrich and enlighten the lives of Uantirians - you! So please feel free to make suggestions in this thread or to contact me directly.
More details will be included in this post as they become available.

More details follow on student enrollment and professorships. As with anything at this stage, they are subject to alteration if people suggest better alternatives.
To be a student at the Royal Academy, one need only have a desire to learn. Attending classes helps too, though. Each class will have a forum where the professor can post threads with lectures. At the professor's option, the discussion of the lessons can either take place in the thread with the lecture, or in a separate one. It is up to each individual professor to decide on the curricula for his or her classes.
To be a professor at the Royal Academy, one must have a superior knowledge of the subject matter in their chosen field or fields. Furthermore, one must be able to effectively communicate the material to their students - this is one of the hardest things about being a good professor. To apply to be a professor, please contact me with your field of study, a rough curriculum for your class, and whatever sample material you are able to provide; the more the better, in this case.
I will be teaching a Survey of Moral and Political Philosophy course in the philosophy department, which will feature tie-ins to a Survey of Economics course. Keep in mind, if students have courses they'd like to see taught, make a suggestion! I'm sure there's someone in our enlightened kingdom who can oblige.

Hi, I know I'm a relatively new citizen here, but I am interested in a professor position. Most likely in History as my main teaching position, with dabblings in science and philosophy. Also I do not really belong to any county yet, I am a free-floating citizen.

Welcome, always nice to see new faces taking interest in the academy. History is good. I assume you have a specific specialty? Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome? U.S., European? Also, within science, are we talking biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy? (But not astrology. This is an academy, after all.) Send me a private message with details on what kind of courses you'd like to teach, we'll see what we can set up.

I am fairly knowledgeable in Mythology and Technology and would be willing to facilitate the learning of others if there is an interest.

Any progress on curriculum? Can do medicine, nursing, child development, biology-human, micro, cell, cancer, HIV, low level physics, chemistry-biochemistry, low level organic, inorganic, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, pschology-normal and a little abnormal, sociology. Would prefer to do guest lectures or assignments with mediated discussion questions.
