I challenge the people to a contest of strength, agility and stamina. Current Chalenge: JulyAcceptable entrance exercises are: -Push ups: -Sit ups: Note, the sit up there you lift your torso completely off the ground and touch your knees is unhealthy for your lower back and works your hips more than it does your abdominal muscles. Sit ups are defined by raising your shoulders and middle back off the floor without 'crunching' your head down. -Squats -Pull ups -Dips -One mile run -Jump rope (duration not skips) -Sprints
Any exercises not on the list may be proposed by any contestant. The exercise must be easily standardized and easy to understand. The test for the strength exercises are to fatigue, a break in repetitions longer than 2 or 3 seconds is the end of your counting. For jump rope it is very easy to get caught up in the rope, especially in the beginning when you're getting used to the process. You can keep scoring if you manage to un-foul the rope and start jumping again within 5 seconds. For the mile run slowing down to walk is acceptable for it is a duration over distance score. The sprint score cannot include slowing of your gait.

Getting in shape is one of those things I always meant to do and never quite got around to. If I can find some facilities for conducting these exercises, maybe I'll give it a try.

Hurray! I'd better hurry up and try to do a pull-up, too, so I don't feel left out. ;D
