I am opening up discussion on the proposed treaty from Tellia. I fully endorse the idea. If you agree, or disagree, now is the time to say so. I will either sign or return a revised draft to the Tellia foreign ministry depending on if there are revisions that anyone feels necessary, by Thursday at the latest.

I cannot say that my opinion is strongly for this, but I am certainly not against it.

I see no need to rush the treaty, King Ari. I think the citizens should have some time to check out Tellia. We need to make sure we know and understand Tellia's intentions. I know I sound paranoid here, but it never hurts to be cautious.

If caution and consideration are tantamount to paranoia, Countess, then you are joined in your paranoia by ranks of statesmen who have urged caution in alliances with other nations including, famously, George Washington.
Friends are always welcome, of course, but it would not hurt to look things over a bit more first.

Which is why I have given you all the link.
If your decision is to wait, than we shall do so. I shall draft up a response tonight.
